As the Commander of the Everett McClay VFW Post 1296, I would like to welcome you to our website on behalf of our 1500+ members. 

For over 65 years our Post has represented the interests of the veterans that have strived to keep America free in times of war and peace. 

In addition our dedication to the youth, elderly and our community have earned us the distinction of being an “All American Post” for the 2004-2005 year. The effort of our Post members, Men’s and Women’s Auxiliary’s and the Military Order of the Cootie have earned us that distinction.

Our membership includes several past (State) Grand Commanders of the Military Order of the Cooties, as well as a past (National) Supreme Commander of that same organization.

As of August 2007 it has also been our privilege to welcome American Legion Post 550 & their Auxiliary as members of our canteen. With their addition we will be better suited to provide all members with quality food and beverage service.
